Bea Alonzo was chosen to play the role of the controversial Philippine Edition Betty La Fea. Months ago, there were a lot of speculations on who will really be chosen for the part. Names of Regine Velasquez, Mariel Rodriquez, Toni Gonzaga, Valerie Concepcion and many more were dragged on the controversy. But finally, the ABS-CBN management finally chose BEA. Other casts were not yet announced.
